Meet the Artist: Elizabeth Stephens

Elizabeth Stephens is a Caddo Nation artist, auctioneer, entrepreneur, and public speaker from Anadarko, Oklahoma. Raised in a family deeply rooted in Native art and culture, she draws inspiration from generations of artists—especially her grandmother, Celita Scarborough, and her late mother, Morina Scarborough.

Working across multiple art forms, including beadwork, leatherwork, and silversmithing, Elizabeth creates pieces that honor Caddo heritage while celebrating the beauty of Indigenous artistry. Her lifelong dedication to cultural preservation, education, and community is reflected in every handcrafted design she creates.
